About The Lady Mitz Foundation
“Preserving, Protecting and Empowering Nigeria’s Youth One Village At A Time.”
Preserve: We provide HIV/AIDS education and support to preserve the health of all villagers.
Protect: We attend to the basic needs of West African youth and protect them from Human-Traffickers.
Empower: We empower young adults with the opportunity to pursue higher education by providing the required financial support for school fees and books.
School & Empowerment center renovation
The first stage of “Village Forward 2030” will be the renovation of the Umunoha state high school which requires immediate attention.
This will create a space to educate local youth in areas like STEM fields & computer science.
LMF College Graduates will have work opportunities at the empowerment center.
The empowerment center will provide immediate employment in the community.
This initiative will require a $9,700,000 budget. Those who support LMF will be featured on one of 25 plaques that will adorn the walls throughout the school and empowerment center.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Princess Mercy is a member of the Royal Family of Umunoha, Nigeria. Princess Mercy is an International Philanthropist who has dedicated her life to uplifting the lives of her Nigerian people who face many hardships. Mercy is an Internationally Acclaimed promoter of Nigerian Culture & Fashion. Her work was sponsored by United Nations for 7 consecutive years
Mercy received her Master Degree & Post Graduate Degree in Education Leadership. She uses her training to educate & empower the youth of Nigeria.
She has received multiple awards for her work including Top African Fashion Design and Fashion Innovation Award. Mercy’s work has been featured in the United Nations Publications, International Herald Tribune (a Washington Post paper, now owned by the New York Times), NJ Home News Tribune , New York Beacon Paper, Essence Magazine, BE Magazine, Ebony magazine, Class Magazine, The Fredrick News-Post, and the New York Amsterdam News, among others.
Princess Mercy is solely focused on creating year-round support & education for the youth in her country through the Lady Mitz Foundation. In 2002 she launched the “Choose Life Campaign.” A program for preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS to youth. Lady Mitz Foundation is also teaching Nigerian families to be self sustainable so local children will not be enticed to join local warlords or human traffickers with the promise of food.
